Eyes Up, Eyes Down

Home | Icebreakers | Energisers | Eyes Up, Eyes Down

This is a high-energy exercise which is guaranteed to get people laughing and get their energy up. Get the group to stand in circles of 8–10 people.

Everyone closes their eyes and drop their heads forward. On the command 'Eyes up,' everyone looks up and tries to catch the eyes of someone else in the circle. If two people find themselves staring at each other, they are both out. You must try and catch someone's eyes — no looking at the walls or floors. Those people who are out, sit out for the rest of the round and you start again with the command 'Eyes down,' — then 'Eyes Up.' It's quick, funny, gets people connected again.
