How Many Beans...

Home | Icebreakers | Working Together | How Many Beans...

Fill a large glass or tranparent plastic jar with beans (having counted them first) and invite the particpants to individually estimate and record how many beans there are in the jar.

Divide the participants up into subgroups and ask them to reach consensus on the number of beans. You can leave them to devise their own process for reaching consensus or you can introduce them to the Delphi Consultation method.

Compare the individual results with the group results.
